John Douglas is a founding member, guitarist, and one of the main songwriters for the acclaimed Scottish band Trashcan Sinatras.
Known for his melodic sensibility and poetic lyricism, Douglas has played a pivotal role in shaping the band's signature guitar pop sound since their debut in the late 1980s.
With a career spanning over three decades, his work has earned a loyal international following and critical praise for its unique lyrical approach, emotional depth and musical craftsmanship.
In addition to his work with the band, John recently released his debut solo album, played sell out solo shows across the UK, Ireland and the USA, and he also collaborates with other artists, including his wife, Eddi Reader.John continues to create heartfelt, resonant music that stands the test of time.
